I would highly recommend the 41mm Seamaster Aqua Terra to anyone looking for a great all-rounder. It can easily be your everyday, every adventure watch. The pros far outweigh the cons for me and my preferences. I bought an omega seamaster aqua terra quartz about 3 years ago and I love it. I have not systematically checked it for accuracy, but it is easily the most accurate watch I have ever had. I wear the watch all the time doing all sorts . Without having to spend a small fortune, I found the Seamaster Aqua Terra Quartz that I really like the look of. But I like the idea of an automatic, like my other Omega (and the Tag). Even though Quartz is “less desirable”, it’s arguably better for a daily worn tool watch anyway. Much more accurate than a mechanical and you don’t need to muck around winding it and setting the time if you don’t wear it for a few days.
I have the 39mm, a silver automatic and a blue dial quartz. Both are phenomenal. You can get the quartz for less from Japan mostly, but may require a service and import fees so if you trust the seller and the condition is good and recently serviced- price seems very fair.
