Thankfully we decided to share one serving of afternoon tea because honestly, if we’d both ordered one, we never would have got through all the deliciousness and there would’ve been so much wasted
The Afternoon tea consists of 3 pairs of finger sandwiches, 5 dessert items, which are up to the chef's discretion. An additional item can be chosen, either scones or another dessert item. In addition to the tea, one can also opt to have a glass of rosé.
In true British fashion (literally speaking) the tasty all-day menu includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. My guest and I start off with sole goujons served in a nice silver bucket together with tartar sauce.
The Classic Afternoon Tea comprises a selection of sandwiches, scones and English cakes alongside a passionfruit and milk chocolate Burberry bar which features the house’s Monogram.
